Oxygen saturation is the parameter that shows how much oxygen is actually being carried by the blood. Measured noninvasively with a pulse oximeter, it gives the oxygen saturation level (SpO2), the percent of hemoglobin bound with oxygen in arterial blood. Normal values are typically around 95–100%, and monitoring this helps detect hypoxemia and guide supplemental oxygen.

Temperature reflects body heat, not oxygen content. Respiratory rate measures how often you breathe, but it doesn’t directly indicate how much oxygen is in the blood. Blood pressure tells the force of blood against vessel walls, again not the oxygen content.
